The ORB Method

What is the ORB Method?

Training yourself to have an optimal rhythmic breathing pattern is a lifestyle change that can have a ripple effect on everything else in your life.  That’s why we developed the ORB Method.  The ORB Method is a style breathing meant to change the way you think about wellness.  The improvements that come with training yourself to the ORB Method are many, we suggest you try it for yourself!

How do you do it?

The ORB Method is a 6 second inhale followed by a 6 second exhale.

Seems simple, right?

Well, not exactly. While the inhale and exhale length is simple, the power in the ORB Method comes in the details. We broke it up in 3 easy steps for the inhale, and 3 easy steps on the exhale:

Inhale
Nose – Always breathe in through your nose
Air – Feel the fresh air come in through the nostrils
Belly – Send that air down into the belly

Exhale
Release – Once your lungs are full, release that air back out of your nose
Relax – Let your shoulders relax and let the air out without forcing anything
Reset – When your lungs are empty, take a micro moment to reset and get ready for the next breath.

With practice, it gets easier and easier. These steps will contribute to helping you achieve an optimal rhythmic breathing (ORB) pattern.
